I am a Certified Complex Trauma Professional - Level 2.
I am trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) which is a framework for working with kids who have experienced trauma.
I completed the Therapist Core Training with the Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs and was also the coordinator of a local sexual assault program before
graduate school
I graduated from Messiah College with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
I was an adoption worker for 6 years
I was a foster parent here in Whatcom County
I am a national board certified mental health counselor and it is an honor to walk alongside people healing and growing. I am devoted to a transformational therapy called Lifespan Integration and have been a licensed instructor since 2021. Lifespan Integration is best type of therapy for healing the past and helping us move closer to who we were created to be. It is gentle, creative, surprising, responsive, and the healing is permanent. Please ask me more about it!
I am fascinated by the mind-body connection and how the nervous system intertwines with our experiences. After looking for an additional body-based tool to support healing, I became certified in the Safe & Sound Protocol and Rest & Restore Protocol, which are both listening therapies that help regulate the nervous system.
I enjoy my family and being near water, animals, baseball, and gluten-free bakeries. I have office space in Blaine and Bellingham, Washington, and also work online.
My favorite thing in life is being a witness to the miracle of healing, and I am constantly impressed that courage can be so contagious.
